Atsina Indians, a branch of the Arapaho tribe of the Algonquian linguistic family. The Atsina lived in what is now Montana. They were allied with the Blackfeet, but later joined the Crows in fighting the Blackfeet and were badly defeated in 1867. The Atsina share Fort Belknap Reservation with the Assiniboin.
